I love varying opinions because I find it ugly and jumbled. The display and vents looks atrocious in my eyes.

That's an interesting way of incorporating the screen. Half integrated into the dash and half protruding.

Can’t say I’m a fan. The infotainment screen looks like a complete afterthought, which shouldn’t happen today.

But it’s the new way, it seems like they are doing it in like 70% of new cars. And honestly, it has grown on me.

I don’t mind it, it allows the dash to be lower than it would otherwise be.
I also imagine it has a lot to do with where the screen is required to be, by law. For instance the Pontiac G8 wasn’t allowed to have NAV in the US because the screen was considered to be mounted too low, it was at the bottom of the “stack” so to speak.

I like it.
But I don’t expect everyone too. It’s better than the current interior.

“Afterthought” displays also tend to look like they’d be the easiest to replace once they become obsolete.

I like it too.
It’s one way of having a larger screen, without having the complete “ipad tacked on dash” design.

It’s all fine except for that vent/screen combo platter. I like the screen to be integrated not stuck on. I think they cribbed the worst part of current German design.

I didn’t know there were such restrictions. Anyway, this doesn’t look bad. I think you can only really pull it off is something like an Explorer or a GMC.

I hope I can remember to share a gif with you later that I can’t share while at work. I t’s hilarious but would fit this situation perfectly.

Interior is run of the mill. Looks like a Hyundai to me.
BUT, RWD, 400HP Turbo V6...does this have the potential to be potentially good?

Yeah my thoughts on the mounted-tablet-look, is that it looks best in T rucks and SUV’s, for the most part.

Not a fan. Shift levers should be levers as there is tactile and visual feedback as to which position its in. The stupid knob concept is cool to look at, but just atrocious when it comes to giving potentially lifesaving feedback (see Anton Yeltsin and the poor feedback from the Jeep lever) . The screen looks like an afterthought and the HVAC controls for fan and temp appear to be a complete clusterfuck. KNOBS MOTHERFUCKER, USE KNOBS!!! Having what appears to be a horizontal rocker for the fan sucks, and pairing that with what appear to be vertical rockers for the temperature is just stupid. Throw in the confusing markings where it isn’t clear which way to move the rocker to increase or decrease the temp and that is just a mess.
